Why are they organic?
Helped by the climate and soils of the tropical and subtropical zone of Peru, Blue Llama Coffee has achieved the development of an organic coffee because no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used, thinking about the customer and the environment. Coffee is grown under shade, that is, interspersed with taller trees, in some cases fruit trees, which give it shade, humidity and flavor. This combination forms agroforestry systems with ecological and economic benefits, such as the protection of biodiversity, regulation of rain, frost, wind, soil protection, carbon capture and more.
